RTDMS at CAISO

California ISO has demonstrated its leadership in utilizing the next generation synchro-phasor technology for real time monitoring operations. Starting in 2002, CA ISO has worked with Electric Power Group to move synchrophasor technology from an experimental set up to a control room system.

Today, CAISO has transitioned EPG’s Real Time Dynamics Monitoring System to the control room to monitor grid operations in real time
